EBRC End of year celebration/Fundraiser

Thank you for your interest in attending the East Bay Rowing Club end of the year celebration and fundraising event.

At the East Bay Rowing Club we are dedicated to making rowing accessible to all. We believe in creating enduring relationships among our rowers as we serve our diverse community. We are proud of sponsoring and encouraging scholastic rowing programs in Oakland schools. Our growth is aimed at serving an ever-wider spectrum of rowers, as we remain committed to enabling recreational and competitive rowing at every level of the sport.

EBRC is a self funded organization and registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit that relies on the support of generous donations and participant dues to continue providing these services to our community in Oakland. In addition to our masters program, EBRC organizes and facilitates the Oakland Tech rowing team (a local high school team) which currently has 80+ active athletes, many of which require scholarships in order to participate. The proceeds of this fundraiser will go to support the scholarships of these athletes.

$110 covers a 1 month scholarship for one athlete.

By funding these athletes through donations, it allows EBRC to direct funds into other areas like replacing equipment (boats, oars, bow lights, launch trailers, cox boxes etc) and eventually replacing the dock at our facility. Your support goes a long way and is much appreciated by both our club and by the Oakland Tech rowing team.

**Raffle tickets will be given at the door, the evening of the event

**If you would like to make a larger donation to EBRC/OT Rowing – please contact a member of the fundraising committee: Erin Griffith- erinraegriffith@yahoo.com OR Terri Ellis: tellis328@gmail.com
